This and That

This week has not been the most exciting week ever for me creatively, but I did get a lot done. The dryer finally breathed it's last breath and things like that throw me for a loop! I did sand some sweet vintage bouncy furniture that will be going to Ironic next week to stage for the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint display (sweating like crazy in this insane heat with a mask on) and staged some images. So I thought I would share some of my favorite pictures from the past few month of a few things...Enjoy! Happy Friday!

House Dreams....

I am dreaming of a house with NO carpet! It will be awhile before we build a house, but we like to talk about what we love and want in our future home. There are so many beautiful house plans and ideas that it's best to keep up with what I like so when the day comes I know exactly what I love. Pinterest is a great way to keep it organized. Here are some ideas for the new digs someday...

This house plan caught my eye...

The Braeburn Cottage at Southern Living. The porch, the roof, mixed use of exterior, doors, windows, floor plan, LOVE it. I see us sitting out on the porch on our farm.

Kinsley Place from Southern Living. The exterior is gorgeous. Gothic Farmhouse.

I would decorate it like this.

{New treasure to paint with my Annie Sloan Chalk Paint}

I am back from the Isle of Palms and it was WONDERFUL. I also found a treasure hunting paradise called Page's Thief Market. Picture this...Old barn with tin roof full of cool, old stuff. Pickers supposedly go through there often. The chair was my purchase. I was going to sell it when I painted it with my new Annie Sloan paints, but I changed my mind. It's so cute that I can't bear to part with it. It's a good thing the car could only hold the chair because I could have hauled a lot home.

The books are from Jonesborough that I got years ago at an auction. I got a big ol' box of them for ten dollars. I really wanted it just for some of the illustrations out of one of the books. I forgot all about them until my mom brought them for me the other day. Lovely. Books from the 1800's and I forgot all about them.

I am trying to practice some staging for my website that is currently under construction and I need to get the photos going ASAP. These are just the unedited versions, but so fun.

A Fabulous Porch Design Just In Time for Summer by TLC and an update on Annie Sloan Chalk Paint being sold in Tennessee

It's off to the beach for me! I can't wait. I just checked out The Lettered Cottage's porch revamp and it is so inspirational. Check it out. Makes me want to grab a cold glass of lemonade and kick back. You can read about it here, at The Lettered Cottage.
